Hey guys, does any of you know of any PDF creator proram that can deliver high quality results in a small file size?

Sir Alfonso's STS-110 payload reached 15.1mb, 6mb for the parts, 9 for the instructions (the largest yet), and he's a bit worried that the file is getting quite big that it may cause problems to anyone that will get the file...

If there's a good PDF creator software out there that can be used for this, please let us know...

    Many Thanks!!!

Final PDF size shouldn't really have much to do with which software you create the file with. I recommend PDFcreator (linked to earlier) as it doesn't bomb you with popup ads every time you print, and it has rather extensive and useful features. Final output size of the files will be mostly dependent on quality, and the size grows exponentially with pixel count. If you are designing at 72 DPI, you might look into reducing your resolution prior to printing. Lower it a few notches and try the output. Keep doing so until the size is reduced enough, but still keeps the quality you want. 72 DPI may look fantastic on screen, but when you get to somebody printing it out at home on their printer, is there really a lot of difference at half that resolution? It's a tradeoff, but 25% lower resolution should net you a massive file size reduction.
