In a manner of speaking. They were used as Storm Trooper props in Star Wars movies. A LMG is a bit large for paper, so consider doing one using common materials from the hardware store.

Blaster Builders Club goes to great lengths to recreate accurate and functional Star Wars costumes & weapons. Go to the site below for a tutorial on how to make a Storm Trooper Heavy Blaster (MG-34). You will have to eliminate the changes the studio added to make it look futuristic. I have more links for sites that help with Star Wars costuming and props if you are interested.

While you are becoming an Imperial clone soldier, hone your card model skills building one of the excellent space or science fiction models found at Lower Hudson Valley Center for free download:

There are web sites with other sci fi card models, so ask in this forum or in the Sci Fi forum if there is one you absolutely have to have.
