Otter Vally RR pics

    Hey wanted to try out the new cam so I took a ride down to Iowa to check out what was happining on the Otter Vally line. Lots of power to look at and things going on have a look and let me know what yall think!!

    Great pictures and workmanship!!!!!!!!!!

    Can't wait for my track and road bed to get here so I can at least run a train or two. I really doubt I have the talent to turn out something like that.

    As Steamhead says " nice railroady look" but I get the impression that 8017 has not been earning her keep lately though !!
    Do I see the base of one of those new fangled wind power generators in one pic, that are causing big rows :curse: and media attentionannounce1 in my local area of the UK ?:)

    I hope to put some pics of my layout progress on The Gauge soon.

    I love the idea of the old caboose for a yard office. (If that is what it is...) I plan on using the same idea on my own layout.

    Somebody please clean the webs off of that poor engine please!!! LOL!

    yea its amazing what you DONT see till you put the cam on the tracks to get a photo it has become my personal vigal to take the duster to the Giant mutant spiders we have down in Iowa yard but didt catch that one till after I got the pic:curse:
    And yes there is a stand of windmills up on bilboard ridge I will try to get some pics of them next week for you and find out who made them as they were done before my time with the club

    I was born and raised in Iowa. I swear that little town of yours looks like every Iowa town along Highway 34 and Southern Iowa...... Nice work! :)

    Actully the Otter Vally RR club house is at the fairgrounds in Sibly Iowa we have the Prairie Lakes Spring meet and swap coming up that we are hosting anybody wanting the Who What When on it let me know I will post the info if you might be in the area and wnat to stop in for a look see:thumb:
