I am new in cardmodel.net, and models presented here are wonderfull by there realisme and technical level.
I follow an other way, to give the opportunity to everyone to build his model from basic shapes, without strong knowledges.
I create an on-line tool, designed to provide simple shapes from a library. Choose a shape, modify its size with a simple form, and print it.
I use it to make piece of furniture for home organisation, but it's a general purpose tool, that you can use to combine shape to create more complicated forms.

Do you think this tool will be usefull for hight level cardmodelers?
What kind of basic shapes would you like to see in this tool?

have a look to this site here for english reader or ici for french reader.
This is a commercial site but subscription is free and you have free shapes. You have also an anonymous access.

    Hi rob,

here are the links, with direct access to the good language.

    english version : http://www.visualkit.com/index_en.html

    french version : http://www.visualkit.com/index.html

and to see the difference with automatic tag and manual tag :
using url tags for english version : http://www.visualkit.com/index_en.html

using url tags for french version : http://www.visualkit.com/index.html

Note that there is a gap between the two versions, you have more pictures in french version. But inside, when you are logged, EMAO is similar in french and in english.

have fun with this tool. :D
