I will like to add my scetches for a wood billboard here.

    Click in pictures for enlarging.

See also my billboard thread if you will like to read a step by step description.

Well, it's not pretty, and I forgot the diagonal beams, but a little india ink wash and it should work out just about right.

Do you use 1/32 plywood for the actual billboard? I have some nice cardstock that should work or even a solid piece of balsa in 1/32 or 1/16.

Thanks for the plans! When I get off my brains, I shall dig through some of my plans I came up with last year.

look for my modeling description here and scroll down to last pictures.
I used scribed wood from North Eastern and I think it was 1/16 inch thick. You can use thinner material, also card board however I think that it should need enough of stiffeness.

Let give my a note to your work; the diagonal braces should be added yet. You will get a better look when you can see the billboard from sides and backside. Good success and enjoy the model.

PS. Sorry for late answer. I have had a few vacation days.
