This is an old KTM brass convertable loco. You could make it into a variety of configurations with either 4 drivers or 6. It had a 2 wheel pilot truck and a trailing truck. 2 different stacks and domes. I added the footboards, new headlight, backup light, whistle, bell and generator. I think it will pass for Erie's #2 as shown in the photo with the exception of the tapered water tank.

Great work. I admire anyone who has the courage to modify brass. The detail that stands out to me most is the counterweights on the drivers. They should be a pretty easy fix, maybe styrene overlays? By golly, I just noticed, is that a Ken Kidder import?

KK always had that distinct looking motor with the brush heads that took the place of the fireman and engineer. I'll bet its got a verticle drive train to a worm gear on the rear axle. Take care of that thing, it's my shay's great-grandpappy you're holding there:p
