NP bridge 35 restoration

Wow, to think that I lived in Washington all 20 years of my life up till this past January 28th, and I hadn't heard anything about this is almost shameful. Though I was in Olympia, a good bit South of this bridge project. Thank you for posting this, that's awesome!

I passed the bridge many times and even rode the Santa Claus train over it a couple of times. I'm a WA state native and lived in the Seattle area until retiring and moving to MT. Never did know that the bridge came from here in MT. Its nice to know that the railroad museum is still moving along. For many years they were on pretty shakey ground and had more locomotives and rolling stock than money. The old NP station at Snoqualimie (town of) is a real architectural gem and has been restored as one end of the line. Its an expensive proposition to run a real railroad as a hobby. If any of you are ever in the Western WA area, there are several historic lines with in 100 miles of Seattle.
