Fantastic work, as always. I can't wait to build this one.

Great subject choice, too... a rare but important bird. Looks like the stumpy precursor to the Sabre.
  3. The model gets a painting schema from a plane of the NAS Oakland 1950 including the cool "Weekend Warriors" logo (appears on left side only).
  4. It is the stumpy precursor to the Sabre. :)

Very nice coloring! I also like the spoked nose wheel.

The model looks great but the paint job is simply amazing.
Now if i could only build an aircraft and have it not look like a crumpled up tissue.
Thanks for posting the pics for us to drool over!

The model is superb. Much much better than my FJ-3M.
    Good work :)
  9. Good question! ;-)
The paintjob is finished, but the instructions certainly difficult for me.

Very nice model. The color schema is beautiful.

Just curious: Do you use some software to design?

  11. Hi Alcides,

Yes, meanwhile I use Rhino. But the most of my sci-fi models are still "old school". :)

I eagerly await the arrival of this fine model. Your work so far, on both design and markings, looks very good. I happen to live near Oakland and I am sure this model will be a big hit at future model shows in the area.

Shoot, never have set foot in California yet, but I still want one of these beauties!
What a gorgeous paint job, sir! I love it! You are very talented!
I can't wait to see the creations in your future!8)

For instructions, drawings and pictures speak more than words, if that helps any.

  17. Thanks for your praise. Unusual und colorful airplane are my favourite subjects. I hope I can you still surprise a couple of times. :)

Not the best pics, my skills as photographer are not so good.
