Non-running models of Challenger, Big Boy and Shay?

Does anyone know where I could find non-running models of Challenger, Big Boy or Shay locos? I'm interested in either preassembled dummy models or kits. Plastic model kits are OK. Scale is not that important.

My son is interested in those engines, but I don't have the $$$ for a running loco, and I don't really have the space to run a Challenger or Big Boy.

You'll find Big Boy kits made by Monogram on Ebay for about $20. Couldn't tell you if they are still made but there are plenty around.

Keystone Locomotive works makes a static kit of a shay that can eventually be motorized for about $50.
