Hello to all. I am new to the site and would like to say Hi.
I also would like to know it there is a place to search for Train sets that were built or for sale at a certain year.

I saw a set for sale in Chicago in 1989. It was a very sleak all silver passenger set. I believe it was in O gage.

Wecome to the roster of the gauge backatit, I dont know much about O scale, but the set you are posibley talking about could be the silver streak, as to value I have no idea, and dont know where you could find out, but someone here might be able to heip you, as we have some of the most nowlageable people here.

That sounds like the Zepher, someone has that set for sale in one scale or another just about every year. Check your Walthers catalogs (at any hobby shop).

As usually suggested here when someone is looking for a particular product, try doing a search at eBay. You can also Google what you think you're looking for and check the results. Many times Google will point you towards an eBay listing.

I usually enter: Zepher price silver

or something like that & most times an actual sale site (e-bay or not) will come up
