Hello all! I am new to the hobby of paper modeling. This medium caught my attention due to the limitless possibilities and level of detail achievable. I have ten years experience as an A&P mechanic/Inspector and pilot. During my time around aircraft that worked for a living I have developed a fondness for dirty, greasy, exhaust streaked, mud in the flaps flying machines. So, I hope to build models that look used, and war weary. The Halinski models seem to have elements of what I’m looking for.

Can’t wait to get started. I have a lot to learn, and Zealot seems to have a lot to offer.

Thank you for choosing Zealot to feature your build in. You will find many members willing to encourage new modelers and to offer sage advice. I look forward to seeing your well-used renditions. Welcome.

Welcome - lots of build threads for info on models and techniques. Everything from flat fliers and simpls shapes to ones that build like full scale aircraft.
