I found this site by looking for the model ship USS California. I have never made a card model and was wondering how it compared to wooden and plastic models in detail and accuracy. I am also intrest in anyone who has made the USS California and their impressions, and what would be a good beginning model to start on or just jump right in. My background is in woodcarving of all kinds and scroll sawing.

    thank Dick Smith

    Welcome, and enjoy the site.

Do a search on any of the Digital Navy ships, Arizona, Yamato, Takao, and others, and check out the detail on those models.
Also check out the HMS Bounty by Christoph, that will put any doubt as to detail to bed

    Welcome again
