    Hi guys :)

Rowiac has blessed us with 2 excellent files of vector Axis Powers flags and US aircraft insignias. These are perfectly drawn and will make any model modification or re-draw much easier without trying to track these down on the web or draw them yourself. Thanks!!

Maurice has endowed us with a 1:85 or H0 Gauge Tatra armoured draisine of 1926. This is an excellent model of a very rare subject
    Thanks Maurice!

Once again I have to say that this home of ours would never be what it is without you guys!

    File namingHe

    Hey Ron,
Just a suggestion, but the files should ALWAYS
have the 3 character descripter attached.
I played heck trying to download those files.
When I did get them, I had no chance of deciphering them.

I know Win98 and up do not show these to users
without tripping the switch, but file translators
can't work if the 3 character file identifier is not present.
Many of us don't have Illustrator. I had to go to adobe
just to clarify what extension their illustrator files apply.
And unfortunately I do not seem to have anything
    that can read them.

Could some kind soul translate these image files to Jpeg or bitmap?
    (Or ANY other standard format?)
That would really help those of us without access to
    the expensive software packages. :D

Gee life's hellish tough in Indiana.
Adobe Illustrator drawing files (.ai) may be opened in Ghostview/Ghostscript - for free.
They can then be saved as .pdf s at about the same size as the original AI files - for free.
    - formats and things are funny things that never cease to amaze.
If you then print those .pdf s using the Win2PDF printer emulator you finish with .pdf s that are 1kb and 2 kb in size (no that's not a typo). They are in vector format and perfectly scaleable. (This is the first time I've seen the "Ghosts" work in vector as well as bitmappery.)
This can be done for free since for our purposes Win2PDF from
is fully functional even whilst unregistered, it just adds an extra page with a tagline - which can be ignored.
It's not perfect but it is good.
