Need info on Digitrax Genesis Or Big Boy

I may have a good deal on a used Digitrax Genesis system or maybe a Big Boy system. Does anyone use this or can tell me anything about it? Any good or bad reviews on this? Does it have the ability to remember settings while unplugging throttle and moving around the layout? Thanks for you help.
