I was wondering if it was possible to print out a a4 sized pdf with letter sized paper. And if there is then can someone explain it carefully because this is first time making a complicated model (I've made a halo helment before so i do have some experience)

    A4 is 11.69 inches long which is 0.69 inches longer than 8.5 x 11.

Glue a strip of paper on the leading edge of the cardstock.
If the paper extends about 7 mm past the edge of the cardstock, it should be about right.
Set the printer to print on A4.
The printer should start printing on the very edge of the cardstock.

You may need to experment with the strip of paper to get the leading edge right.
It has been several years since I did this.

I forgot to mention that it is also possible to get legal size cardstock.
If you do not mind wasting the paper, set the printer for A4 and print on legal size cardstock.
