    Hello everyone,

My name is Ken West. I have been a plastic modeler all my life. A couple of years ago, I discovered the art of card modeling. Since then, I began dabbling with the idea of laser-cut cardboard models. See the attachment of the hand-cut prototype of NASA's Transporter-Crawler. What you see here is appx 1200 pcs. The track shoes (not shown) each contain 10 parts for a total of 4000 parts just for the shoes! The white assemblies underneath the chassis are plastic parts made from stereo lithography. These will be laser cut cardboard as well (eventually). This is a 1/96th scale TC. I will keep a thread going to keep you informed of progress. Feedback and comments are welcome.
