Well, not finished - needs a chimney! :D I forgot to post it here when I was done. I am going to trim around the roof edges a bit more, seal it, and cast the roof so I don't ever have to make another one! :D I had a few friends ask for a casting, so if it comes out they will get their wish.

    The real deal:

    Remember the advil bottle?

Wow, It sure turned out well TX. I can see why you want to make a cast of the roof. That must have taken many hours to complete.

Thanks for the comments! Yes, the roof was a bear. Its not perfect but close enough for me! Those little N scale shingles are evil!

I do want to cast it, for myself (want to try another one with some different techniques for the walls) and for some friends. Does anyone have any thoughts on what would make a good sealer for the shingles so I could use the woodland scenics latex to make a mold? I am intending to cast them in hydrocal.
