My new painting

I don't post too much on here but I am trying to change that a little. Here is a new painting I received which I commissioned from Robert West. It is of Natural Tunnel, Va. and is just stunning.

Thanks, actual size is 2'x3'. Kinda hard to see all the great detail since I had to shrink it down. I met him several times over the years at various train shows and his paintings always impressed me. This past Feb. I talked to him about painting this scene for me and he agreed to do it. I had been searching for the center piece of my living room and this completed it.

:thumb: Bob West is a great painter. He shows up at Railroad days in Galesburg, Il. almost every year and usually creates a painting on the spot while everyone watches. He also has a personallity that matches his expertise with a brush. He's a very warm and friendly man. I have three of his prints. One is autographed with a personal sentiment. I only wish I could afford an original painting.
