Your very inspiring Frank. I love trains but I have a passion for the Steamers. I want to build an Engine House & roundtable so bad but I tell myself NO WAY  until the Mill & Mining projects are done. I want to scratch build it & use an over the counter mechanism for the table itself. I do plan on working doors, I'm leaning more towards a push & pull type control similar to the old car choke rods before the electronic chokes came along. I have experimented with some servos from some old RC planes with good results but I think the manual choke rod type would be more practical. It's going to be good keeping up with your project. Thanks for taking the time to show.

Bill ; I never posted photos of the large station. It is by Kibri. It is there Bonn station 9373,with two train sheds, 9565. It is almost 3 feet long frank

I'll look at that in my Walther's catalog. If it is big enough, you might be able to cut out a section of the outboard wall, and have that section removable, so that the control board can be exposed for operation, and enclosed in the building for viewing or photography.

What is the origin of your station that is in the photos.

Here is the Kibri station. If you look at the top photo left side behind the station you can see a little bit of the train shed.

Bill, it is kinda like a not so small shoping mall. That would be bigger than a small mall. But not a large as a biger mall.
And if you understand what I just said, do me a favor and tell me.

Now this layout has main line trackage and a yard that has ballasted track. My yard is considered a thro bypass track. Everywhere else the track will be directly on the ground. Track around the round house and service areas will look as what I have seen . I am building two ramps for now to allow locomotive movement, and all non revenue cars, and railroad deliveries in to railroad maintance areas.

This is happening again. Last time you restored my ablity to edit only new posts. I put up with this. Now I have to many things. New photos and discriptions to replace old ones. If I can't edit, I can't put my work here. A partial repair woun't be enought. Please fix my editing ability.
