Hello,

I proudly present you my first selfmade cube. I worked with Inkscape and made some specials. All pictures are of my build models. They are transparent, so that the scaling is still to be seen. There is only one problem, I can not draw tabs and inserted them by hand.

Greetings Andy

The cube file is about 30 MB. I have to make it smaller, before I can share it.

Hi, Andy! Nice cube! As for the tabs and the file size, I think you can solve two problems at the same time by exporting the Inkscape file into a bitmap file (*.png for example) and edit it in Gimp. With it you can draw the tabs manually and when exporting to a bmp format (or exporting it to a *.pdf file) you can reduce the file size.

I fixed both problems. Now the cube has tabs. And I reduced the images before. The file is now about 7 MB big. You can get the cube at my board. But you have to register first.

Next time I will follow your tip. Maybe your way is better.
