I saw this over on the Trains.com model railroader forum and I thought we could come up with some of our own. I cant think of any of my own at the moment but I'm sure some of you will have some good ones.

After converting my two Bachmann Moguls from On30 to On3, I discovered that the crank pin on the #1 driver will bind with the crosshead and take the wheels out of quarter before locking up.

The one paint I purchase at the LHS happens to be the variety I bought last time...and the one I need has been solid out by the time I finish my special trip back to the LHS.

The more complex the kit, the more likely I'm going to lose the instructions...and if I manage to acquire another set from the manufacturer, I'll then discover that they've shorted me on a key part.
