Im looking at the MRC Prodigy system to put on my layout, I can't afford the Prodigy advance yet. Is this an ok system, anyone running it have any problems. I will only be using it on a at-home layout. Don't need anything fancy. What all can this system do, what functions and everything? What brands for decoders are compatiable with this? I have read this system is a walk-around system, but can you set up plugs around you table and run them back to the command station and walk around the layout, plugging the handheld into the nearest plug, like a network, or can you only walk as far as the wire is?
