I came across at a flea market an 2-8-4 N-scale Berkshire loco made in Germany for the Model Rectifier Corporation, Sante Fe # 3790. At $5 it seemed to good a deal to pass up!! Does anybody have any information on this loco? Who was the German manufacturer? How old is it? It it a "keeper"? How tight a curve can it handle?

BTW, Spookshow's N-scale Locomotive Encycolpedia is a great reference. He rates each loco (American prototypes only), gives some history, and includes MR reviews. The list is pretty comprehensive. Here is the main address:
