Been reading up on the net about n scale, and came across something that is (possibly) going to make me happier.

I've read that with n-scale it doesn't matter what starter set I go for as all trains will run on the same track.

As my only experience is with HO scale Marklin C track, which will not run all trains I wanted to check this before going shopping for prices this weekend. Can anyone confirm / deny this?

Thanks

Stu

I wouldn't agree with that. I use Peco code 55 and the same for turnouts. A lot of older locos and rolling stock from a lot of different manufacturer's won't work because the flanges hit the ties. If you use only newer stuff or code 100 (to toylike for me) you will have far fewer problems. Hope this helps, good luck and please keep asking away! :)
