I've been reading a book by Wayne Wesolowski (MRR scratchbuilding)and was wondering if anyone has made molds using this product and have a source for this one or another that you've had good luck with?

I've done some very simple molds, and castings using Alumilite resin, and RTV mold making compound.
There are some things which are more easily reproduced with castings, instead of scratch building each individually.

I cannot offer comparative info. I've only used one brand of casting stuff. But on the other hand, I've been so happy with the results that I was never motivated to try anything else.
I use the RTV and casting resins that Micro Mark sells, and even a rank casting amateur like me gets surprisingly fine results.
