Module update

Great day, so I set my two modules up in the yard. Used my airbrush and painting in natural light was great.

Started scenicing the left module with a little ground cover. I have a long way to go but this is the part I enjoy the most.

Great looking module Bill. Did you use castings for your rock facings or just carve them in?

I have to pour the enviortex water before I can anchor the five bridges. The two upper bridges are scratch built.

Having trouble getting the Peco switches to actuate with Tortoise switch machines. Since my modules are made of layers of 2" thick styrofoam I have to pocket the underside to mount the switches.

On the Tortoise switch machines I went to a heavier wire but it still flexes and actuation is not 100%. I am about 1/2 to 5/8" away from the underside of the switch. I was told that I can eliminate the slight flex by adding a tube over the wire. Will have to check my LHS.

Really great work you have done

To work in daylight outside really makes a big difference. I made the mistake sometimes to work with artificial light and was disappointed when I saw my work in daylight. It didn't look the same way :cry:
