I'm interested in building Battlestar Galactica ship. Below I listed all paper models of this ship which I found:

Original series (TOS) (1978-80)
1. http://jleslie48.com/bg/index.html - free for download from site. Textures are based on this model: http://www.cloudster.com/Sets&Vehicles/Galactica/CrevelingGalactica/GalacticaCreveling.htm#Creveling. A bit less than 120 parts (if I did not miscount). Quite detailed instruction.

New series (TNS) (2003-...)
2. http://www.freewebs.com/jaybats/cardiscontact.htm - As far as I can see on pictures it can retract/extend landing bays (http://www.freewebs.com/jaybats/apps/photos/photo?photoid=42824887 & http://www.freewebs.com/jaybats/apps/photos/photo?photoid=42824888) or those are two models.... Download from site is not available (at far as I know) but it is possible to get it from download section on this forum. As described on Jay's site it has mirrored textures, so names on one side are also mirrored.

3. http://stevespaper.com/?page_id=66 - two Galacticas 1,5 ft (about 0,5 m) and 3 ft (about 1 m) long. Based on Coxxon 3D models. Looks like this one is the most detailed version of all.

I'm interested in third one. On Steve's site is written: "Regardless of which you choose you’ll need the assembly instructions." I was trying to found them, but no luck. I found Rhaven's thread which partially covers assembly. Are there any instructions for this model or I need to use my intuition?

The instructions are on Steve's site right above the parts files:
http://stevespaper.com/?page_id=66

The PDF applies to both the small and the big version of the model.

BTW, a half studio-scale TOS Battlestar is on my todo list.

I had to be blind. I don't know how I missed that. Maybe I thought that this line is heading of the table?
I was looking on other topics with Galactica but I didn't found yours Danscrew. I'm looking at it now. Nice work with lights. It looks great on the wall.
Revell-fan I saw your with 1,5 ft TNS topic with earlier. Very detailed work. I'm waiting for final results.

Slightly off on a tangent with this, but I started to build the Big G for here http://jleslie48.com/bg/index.html. Very nice model, but wanted to add detailing. (I think this was my first proper attempt a paper-modelling) The problem I have is, the discs on the back are not round. I'm not sure if this is a set-up issue. It's apparently A4 and I though I should print out in legal, but that would make it less round, I think. If I alter this 'manually' it may not match the other parts.

Any idea where I've gone wrong, or am I blind to the obvious.
Help please.

You are right, somehow the texture was flawed whilst it was applied to the surface. Circular shapes appear oval and the red stripes are grey only. The only way to solve this is to edit the pages in your favourite graphic program (e. g. Gimp). However, up to now this is the only TOS battlestar paper model (and it is of very high quality).

De nada, trt! :thumb: When I'm getting to my version I'll see to it that the texture is flawless and that there are enough greeblies to keep the builder occupied for at least 6 months!

@Sei: Are you going to post a build thread of these ship? I would really like to see would you will do with them.
I am indeed building the big "G" (but from BLOOD & CHROME. So I am making the armored hull plating from scratch, as well as other greebles and details). Unfortunately this build is "ON HOLD" until I finish my Viper diorama.

@TRT: I built this model as well. Everything went together nicely for me (but I did use A-4 180 gsm card for the build). I just looked at my model and the two discs are oval on mine as well. I think that it was done that way on purpose.
I have thought about adding more detail (but I would need to rebuild it to do such).
Good luck with the build. I look forward to seeing it.
