    Hi all,

Was at the Modelbaumesse in Sinsheim today and took a few snapshots of some of the models exhibited. Also parted with a few Euros...

You never know Yaniv, it could well happen. I didn't see a single Dakota when I was there.

I did find a model of a Convair 440, which I am going to try and bash into a Canadair Cosmopolitain with Canadian Airforce marking.

And here is a link to with even more pictures.

Their tables were well filled. I did get to see the WWI airfield diorama, and at it is pretty cool at that small scale. Chatted with a few of the folks there, and even snagged myself a couple of items. Overall, this was incredible. It was paper, plastic, static, r/c everything, all together enjoying modelling just for modelling. They had large water tanks set for r/c boats and submarines. Then they had areas setup for the display/operation of large scale r/c tanks, trucks, construction equipment, etc. And, in the r/c aircraft hall, some incredibly huge scale aircraft. There was an indoor flying arena for the park flyer type aircraft. Absolutely fun! My biggest catch? The CFM-Verlag/GPM Mig-21. Already scanned and rescaled, ready to build.

No matter how good the pictures, they don't do the personal viewing justice.

Wow! Is that He-219 Uhu paper, plastic, or shrink-rayed real thing? Hard to tell these days. Do you know the manufacturer?

Yes, and it was in a cabinet at the Moduni booth.

Does any one know how they create the ship's bases that look like water?
