Today i will show you my second "self-designed" card model.

    I's the Messerschmitt M-33.

    First, the original:

Messerschmitt designed an aircraft for "less money". Everybody should be able, to buy it.

So the "Volksflugzeug" M-33 should be sold as a kit.

The aircraft was first shown at the "Luftsportausstellung" in Berlin in 1932 as a 1:1 scale model.

But in the 30's nobody wanted to buy that aircraft. So it were never produced.

The aircraft should have 9,26m wingspan and an 15 hp- DKW- engine.

The engine was in front of the cabine (? correct word ?), but the propeller was on top of the wing.

Maybe today you would call it "light aircraft".

    The model:

The model is designed in 1:33 scale.
The colour "red" is just fantasie, same as the registration D-1932.

Becourse the 1:1 scale model, that Messerschmitt showed in Berlin had no registration- number.

And in fact the aircraft should be sold as a kit, theoreticaly everybody may have painted it in his "own" colours.

If you are interested in this aircraft, send me a message.

    (Sorry for my bad english!)

For those with an overwhelming need to know....
D-1932 was issued in Juli 1930 to Deutsche Luftfahrt GmbH for an Albatros L82c Werk.# 10168 , Siemens Halske 14.
    Later became D-ERYV

( I have a copy of vol.I of Karl Ries' Deutschen Luftfarhzeugrolle 1919-1934 if anyone needs a quick answer on prewar german registrations)

Ok, but in the beginning of this posting, I told, that the registration- number of my model is just fantasie. Becourse the original had no registration. ;-)
