Had a client come to me and ask about creating a mascot for one of their clients. They wanted me to send over some samples of previous work, which I did, but I decided to whip up a couple of new ones for my portfolio (it had been awhile).

Armorman, great artwork! 'm guessing that the red leaf is for Canada, and the green leaf for Washington state's newest pass time

Good guess, but the client had something to do with nature, and that's what I was angling for...nothing more specific.
