I've just posted a photo of Marksburg Castle, a model by the German publisher Schreiber. Apparently Marksburg is the only fully preserved medieval fortress on the Rhein. Its tower rises 130 feet above the courtyard and can not be accessed from the courtyard. A timber walkway leads to it at roof level from a dormer.
The model has a challenging roof line, but I was not impressed with the detailing of the tower.

Love your castles! This is cardmodeling, such as my father loved to do it already in the 1920s, when weekly magazines regularly published castles and dioramas. You're the keeper of a long and worthy tradition! - Leif
