Well I got the little engine to run thanks for the advice. Now the kadee coupler is way lower on the tender than my box cars. Any one know what number of kadee I need or how do I get the couplers to line up. Thanks.
What does the coupler mount to. If it iis a talgo type (truck mounted), cut the coupler mount off the truck and mount a coupler draft gear box to the tender body. That should raise it up. If it is already mounted to the body already, you can either put shims between the truck and the bolster to raise the body or get an off set kadee coupler.
