Magic the Gathering Deck Protector

Hi all...

I found this neat little project on here somewhere, I downloaded the plans from a link and haven't seen the link again.

Anyhoo here it goes, the first part is one piece folded glued and edge painted.





This first piece folds into one half of a book shaped deck protector for Magic cards. My "Travelling" Spell Book.

Hi Micah,

Yes that is a neat little project. If you go to Gallery & Designs then "Free Models", go to the second page of listings you will find your original thread that has the link to the downloads from leofirebrand.

Ok piece 2 is done.


Like the first piece it is one page cut out folded and glued with edges painted.


The next step is to join the two peices and complete the book.


Once I've done that I'm going one step further and I will clear coat the whole thing again because this deck-box will be used.

Nice finish to your project. I always like somthing that is fun to make and provides a useful item when it is completed, sorta like getting a "two-fer"

I love MtG the game too. Just an amazing game (if expensive to buy the cards).

it's a fun game but I must stress " it's a game!!" in my younger days I spent Way to much money on it. I had a complete set of Alphas and Betas, then lost them all to a thief, cards that on the market today would cost several thousand dollars. nowadays I only buy booster packs and event decks, no singles or cases.
