I've just finished my design of the Messerschmitt P.1106R.
I've uploaded the diagrams to the download section.
It should be available once approved by the admin.

APPROVED! That is a sharp looking jet! Nice build too! I love the Luft '46 stuff. It's lots of fun. Thank You for your contribution! :)

The Henschel you are working on has some very interesting history surrounding it. The Germans were having trouble with adhesives, as the craft was made primarily of wood. The pilot was also able to be in a prone position. These would have been interesting craft. The trouble with adhesives was so bad, the literally fell apart after being assembled, which was a major reason only one ever was and the subject of it's air worthiness doubtful. Due to the nature of it's assembly, not aerodynamics. :)

I think the HE162 also suffered the same problem with the adhesive.
It was corrosive and it ate into the wood causing the bond to fail.

On the prone position -- I see a lot of merits with this. But I also dread to think of how one would bail out should the need arise. :)
