Very very nice one Nezard. Want to see more.
A very beautiful subject being done very nicely!
Lack of progress recently, reason: never thought a science student would ever run into an essay crisis......
But things are alright now, just made every surface developable. It's nearly time for a primary testbuild.
your work looks just outstending my friend
can u please sher with me your tricks for design haha?
can i make the test built?
Yaniv, I think I'll make a tutorial on designing in the future, but if you have anything to ask, feel free to do so. And you are most welcome to do the final testbuild, however this one will just be a test to see if the parts fit. There are still loads to add ^_^
i wahit for your toturial my friend in BIG EYES hahaha
and WOW i make the test
This is going well. I like how looks your model specially the canopy.
Do you have a technique to model that? I'm not so happy with the canopy in my pulqui.
Guys, Back Up Your Models!!!!!!
Bad news: Rhino crashed while I was saving
Good news: It autosaved my work
Bad news: I ignored the autosave dialog
Good news: Rhino tried to repair the corrupted model file
Bad news: It can't
Good news: I had a backup some days ago
So all is not lost, but the model file now looks like, this:
For the current state of the project, please refer to post #13.
Alcides, the canopy is actually not hard to do in a proper CAD program at all, but I agree that using ovals would be a bit difficult... Nezard off mourning ...
Looks Like It Really Crashed!
Don't stop now!
Go! Go! Go!:-D
nezard the new file looks intristing models (just tray to gave u some support for kip lgoing )
well its hepppn to me also in my c47
i also 1 day format and forgat to save the new files
my locky is that KOOKLIT have the files hahaahha
save tham in 2 place all the time
I'll not stop (Grin) I swear I'll start the project tonight!!
Lesson, never use Rhino with Windows(R) Media Player(R) together...
Go Nezard, go !!! Don't stop.
As an IT guy I only can tell you: save your work very often. I save with a different name every time I've a couple of curves or surfaces finished. With my pulqui project I've until now I've 40 files.
we must music on whan we are make the model
so its not the MEDIA
lets kill bill hahaha
I once exported a selected part to the main file by mistake. I lost my motivation for a few days.
Lesson, careful exporting :-D
For me i back up all folder by windows briefcase. Just open briefcase and update , very simple procedure.
Thanks for all the support guys, I'm now back on track because of you all ~ The model is ready for some unrolling again. (Besides, the mishap allowed me to change some of the tailfin design, so it's not that bad )
Rising from the ashes...
Ready for a testbuild again8) . (Making backups, please wait.........)
Think I'll leave this design to cool down for some time during the testbuild. (while I have to deal with other projects currently in the pit of despair) I remember Adam from Mythbusters said if a project is littered with small problems, everything will be fine in the end. While if things went so smoothly, then a big mishap will always be round the corner...
cant wait to tray the test built
can i please make it for u?please please please hahaha?
Right... So Yaniv's C47 is going smoothly, Kooklik's U-boat is in good shape, but my J10 is experiencing technical difficulty -- again. Some of my surfaces won't unroll, and even worse, Rhino crashes if I force it to unroll. It almost took me 3 days to figure out what was going on... Back on track
