Logging cars

    Spookman asked how I do my logging cars to be loaded and unloaded.


    First notice the blocks at end of chain. This is all glued togeter with Elmers glue ang hot glue.

    These blocks of balsa wood fit into the notch on the car.

    This secures the load on the car. This is with MDC Round House cars.

    With IHC cars this is what I do

    The logs are glued together as before with chains glued around to under the logs. These 2 strips of balsa are then glued to the bottom spaced to fit snugly between the cross members of the car.

    These are not the best pics I have ever posted but I hope you can see the Idea. OK the last pic is BIG. I don't know why or how to fix it
