Chief400, did someone put out a contract to kill me?...a SHAY???
    Are you sadistic? LOL

This model has just about killed me several times, I haven't even BUILT a model this complex, and here I am designing it. Of course the designing part will help me with the build...I know how it goes together!

    Design Phase FINISHED!!!

    All done designing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still may need to adjust this and that, but all parts are done (I think).

The unofficial count is 163 seperate parts. Some of these will be used more than once which will bring the total count of parts up. I will let you know the count after I add all the parts to the pages...I may even show you a sneak preview of the parts pages...

I'm guessing the difficulty level as 4/5...lots of tiny parts...we will see...

This will probably take all day...gotta add parts, draw boxes around them, label them, and beautify the cover. Also gonna do a small tribute to Henry Kirke Porter on my download page.

    And now a word from our sponsor;

I decided that labeling that many parts on the page was foolish, so I indexed the parts and assigned them a number.
Here is the index, without numbers.

    Sneak Preview

I have 3 pages printed and ready to build!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Smokestack, and 3 domes need a little more work, they can wait...last few parts to install anyway. And...of course...a few parts I forgot showed up at the last minute...

    I will start building/drawing tomorrow.
Here is a sneak preview of the parts, if you were really good at tiny, you could build most of it. Or you could wait a little longer for the real thing.

I used my little artsy fartsy program, Paint Shop Pro 6. It has a tool called
" Magic Wand", it is a selection tool that can select an entire area with one click. It matches hue with an adjustable tolerance. I simply select my "inlay" area, use the rectangle selection to select a plank (real picture), and choose paste/into selection.

Thank you for your kind words Barry.

Always wondered what that thing did thanks Phil

Planking a Ship? OUCH!!! I always wanted to do that, until I did these inlays for the Porter. Not hard, but tedious.

Guess what I did today?...well...you going to guess??? HUH are you?

NOTHING!!!...well...tickled my Wife a little...took a nap (old fart nap)...
Threw the ball for the Dog...

You want to know how long it has been since I built a toy???
    So do I...!
Catch my drift, or should I be more vague???
