The shape of the plane is realy difficult because of the stealth technolohy....8) 8) 8) 8)

This is the model Kit :
    This are the ribs.....
    and the nearly finished frame.....

Very nice. The exterior of this kit looks better than that on the GPM F-117. The interior structure is much more extensive than that in the GPM kit. Is the white streaking on the wings and fuselage weathering?

    Hi Doug.....

....yes it is weathering by pastel crayon.

The pastels are very good and easy to use for weathering and retouching...

Very nice start. The fuselage framing looks as complicated as a large ship model's egg crating 8v) Looking forward to the finished model.

Nice work, but once again I have to repeat that is one of the most butt ugly things to ever take wing. I can't believe it was built by Lockheed.

All fans of the Nighthawk (or wobblin goblin as I call it) may now feel free to rake hot coals upon my head... ;-)

    @ rwguess

    Hi rwguess,

the manufacturer is Halinski look at this

The instructions are only in polish but if you have a bitt of expirience in card modelling it will work.

The models are very detailed and everything fits well. Where you can buy in the usa I do not know. Here in Germany it´s no problem to get them, perhaps you can buy direct by the manufacturer.....

You're in Darmstadt? If you ever get down Rastatt way give me a call, we'll hoist a frosty one together, and I'll give you a tour of our museum.

I know of at least one shop in Karlsruhe that sells some card models. At least they did a year or so ago.

While I could find it, durned if I can recall it's name.

    Card Models in Germany

    Hi Ray/texman,

Ask in the nearest hobby or book shop for "kartonbau-bogen" or "kartonmodell-bogen".
The best known manufacturers are Schreiber-Bogen/Aue verlag and Wilhelmshavener Modell.
www.moduni.de is one of the largest online shops.

    Best of luck in Darmstadt!
Germany is nice to visit and the beer is sooo good!

    F-117 Stealth Fighter

I think the Stealth fighter has a sci-fi beauty of it´s own - very sleek lines and a futuristic look with the lifting body design. Exciting, I would say!..

    Flu, Rick,

Thanks for the info. I know there is a group that meets in Mannheim, but
I have yet to find where they meet. Looks like a group of pros, but a friendly lot. Rick, when heading your direction, will definately let you know. I'll always
    raise a frosty!

    Hi @ all,

I´ve got some new pics for you.............the cockpit is finished except the head up display. I´ll build it just before the canopy is assembled.
