#9 A close up of the moss I found in my yard that I made the ground cover in the woods out of.

I have two shots one with an LPB in HO scale for a size reference

My next step in the layout is to paint the xposed wood of the layout a sort of medium to dark brown color and apply the ground cover on the rest of things I am still deciding what else to put on the layout before I do that however.

I need a couple of industries or something to sapice things up a bit I was thinking of doing a backdrop with some industry fronts on it or something for the industrial part of the town.

Here is a couple more shots of the ground cover in my little section of woods in the corner. I dug out my old RCA digital camera that had a Macro mode to get this shot.

Well the mayor of my little town had to declare an evacuation today as it seems a severe flood came through of a strange white liquid mixture.

Even the trains had to stop for a while due to this gluelike substance

The ground cover I am using is a layering of ground up green florist foam for the light green color, Woodland scenics dark green fine truf for the dark color, and the fine yelow Turf from woodland scenics to add in a bit of dead looking yellow grass.

The bushes are Woodland scenics foliage cluster foam.

I applied the old ground cover with matte emdium and a brush. this new batch I am using white glue/water/dish soap in a spray bottle to first wet down the area then sprinkle on the foam and then a second application of the glue mix to tack it down and give a more coarse texture to the fine foam.
