La Belle to continue

Discussion in 'HO Scale Model Trains' started by rhensley@anderson.cioe.co, May 22, 2001.

  1. La Belle Woodworking, manufacturer of quality wood craftsman kits, will continue under new owners.

For those who have become aware that the current owners of La Belle Woodworking were going to retire, I’m pleaded to announce that the sale of the company is pending.

La Belle is to be purchased by an experienced model railroader and woodworker who intends to continue the line of kits.

Business will continue at the present location until the actual move begins. All orders will continue to be filled until the transfer of ownership. This should be in late June or July.

You can check the La Belle web site at http://www.rrhistorical-2.com/labelle/ for more information as details are developed. The current owners will assist the new owners for a smooth transfer of the facility with minimum interruption of business.

Nice to meet you Roger [IMG]

Stupid question time. Is this the same company that sells fine lubricants for mechanisms??

    George.
  3. No, the lubricants are a product or JMC/Con-Cor. They both originally came from a town called La Belle, but that is the only connection. :)
