L&N railroad engine late 60s early 70s?

    Can anyone remember or have a pic of what the L&N railroad engine looked like in the late 60s early 70s. I cant remember what they looked like, but i remember the coal hoppers and the caboose . the location is eastern kentucky if that helps. im trying to get a ho scale of it.thanks

    Figures all my L&N books are on loan now, but if Atlas got it right on their N scale GP40 it's a gray body with a yellow nose and lettering and a red and yellow logo on the cab.

    The HO Atlas GP38 looks like the photo I linked to above, yep... Nice-running engine too. :thumb:
