kitbashing a UP excursion boxcar?

I need one of these boxcars for my UP excursion train. I am still waiting for a brass model to show up. but in the meantime, is there any way to kitbash one? this is the boxcar that they use to carry the steps and other equipment in (UPP 9336).

any tips or ideas?

trainworm - getting close - Here is a starting point ? The most difficult part would be to get the roof line right. I think the car you want is a 60' car
this is the closest I could find real quick. It should be fine for a temp car.
Whats your toughts.
You could use some modelling putty to get a round roof edge?

Alex,

Pemco made that very car way back when, would need some adjustments, but it's it. If you can find one the model number is #3450-011, that is for a UP 60' box but they made other roads, but it has the doors like you need and is not an excess heigth car.
