Kato announces the NW2

In N scale. Only in the AT&SF pre-1972 freight scheme in two numbers. If they stick to their recent RAPID announce and deliver scheme, another release should be in a few months.

I sure hope this is a typical Kato smooth runner. I've got some LL SW1200's I'd like to put on a Kato frame.

Sure wish they'd make more of those in HO. I need 2 of them.

Same goes for the SW-1 that Walthers made, I need two of those too.

Good luck, Kato seems to totally abandon older models. They've done that with their GP38-2, GP50, SD45, U30C and C30-7. There are many n scalers that would love to have another go around with those models.

The GP38-2 and GP50 aren't up to today's standards of detail and accuracy. The GEs on the other hand... *sigh*

Well it appears Kato fumbled the GP38-2 market away and Atlas recovered with their GP38-2.

Kato's NW2.... i looked on thier web page and found nothing on an n scale version. maybe im not seeing it but could you direct me to it as im modeling a era that needs a few of them thanks
