Some outfit on E bay is drilling out 3/8 X24 thread 3/8 in capacity drill chucks to 12 MM X 1 MM threads. Got this one ( brand new chuck too) for 17 $ -- sure beats paying over 30$ for a large drill bit with a 1/4 in. shank. 3/8 shank bits are pretty reasonable , but the 1/4 inch ones --- WOW they are proud of em. :curse:
