Hello Card Modeler,

I need a few air planes for my Airport Schiphol 1930.

I start with the Junkers F 24 the orginal design is from Jürgen Quitting. He passed away 2 years ago.

I scaled the sheet to 20%

picture 1 > the down scaled Ju F 24
picture 2 > the different parts to create the Body i laminat normal paper 80g/m² with carton 160g/m²
picture 3 > how i build the body of the aircraft with different layers

The next few picture shows you how easy it is to build something in small scale.

picture 6 > the result with the right amount of layer
picture 7 > only a other view
picture 8 > Top and Bottom of the Airplane
picture 9 > all parts together , not bad
picture 10 > test how the wings are to build

kind regards

next step the landing gear

to build this filigran structure i use a easy trick.
small stripes (0,1 mm) are layered with superglue. The result is similar to plastic card. This stripes you can glue with superglue or normal wood glue. And so it is possible to build parts like lasercut.

picture 16 > the paper strips layered with super glue
picture 17 > the landing gear
picture 18 > the landing gear mounted on the airplane
picture 19 > the last parts - the fin
picture 20 > the final result
