Your right on the money with those statements...
Here's one side of the forward fuselage, showing where I've skinned the port side.. Outside piece has to go on first, so the inside piece will hide the tabs.. Also important to try and keep the corrugated detail on the side lined up..
radiator & motor
Built the motor and radiator.. tubing for the motor made from wire. Have to have the motor installed before I can add the radiator to the front. Exhaust pipes will be added later on, as they would just be in the way at this point..

Have added the motor and radiator. Plus I've added some scrap balsa to the bottom of the fuselage for strength. Will sand to shape, and then add the bottom parts of the hull.
Just kidding! As Ted says, Paper on the hoof (love that one).
Plugging away on this.. Working on the rear of the fuslage, and started making the frames up for the wings.. Definitely will be doing a lot of touching up at some point..

tailplane & rudder assembly
Without real clear diagrams, these were a little bit of a "pain in the rear" to figure out how to make everything work and fit.. Just set in place for now, untill I attach the main wings.
Photos show the making up of the main wings. Had to do a little bit of sanding to the frames to get everything to wrap where it look right to me. They flush up to the fuselage reasonably well on the test fit.
