JSCs 1/400 scale

    Here's a pic of the JSC Graf Spee, rails are Tom's Modelworks 1/400 scale rigging is .3 mm sprue, stand is water color paper painted to look like wood, water is artist's acrylic gel. These are great little kits, medium level of detail , fit was practically perfect, however, looking at the works on this site raised the bar on detail and I had to jump up to 1/250.

    Here are some of JSC's Indianapolis pics The artists gel water warped the hull something bad, lesson was coat the hulls with something probably acrylic spray. This kit was a great build but the detail left me underwelmed, then joining this site showed that bigger is better, so I'm switching to 1/250.
