I know I am late. It was just one of those days. I cannot access the Gauge at work due to our filtering software that mistakes the Gauge for a porno site. Since this has been going on I try to post Thursday before I go to bed. Last night we were having a thunderstorm and the power was fluctuating so the computer was turned off before I got a chance. Then to make things more fun when I got home from work I had to spend almost two hours arguing with our mail order prescription drug supplier about some medication that my wife needs that is now 6 days overdue. The idiots don’t use a tracking number so all they know is it maybe somewhere between Pennsylvania and Las Vegas. When I got done with it was time for my son’s baseball game.

My daughter has a softball game tomorrow afternoon. We also have their school May Day Play Day Fair on Saturday. My daughter has a flute recital on Sunday as her teacher is holding a Mothers Day luncheon and flute recital for her students and their mothers.

I would like to finish weathering some gondola loads I have sitting on the workbench. Also I would like to continue adding foam to the layout for the hills and maybe start the plaster soaked paper towel laying.

Sounds like you have a full weekend going on there Tom. That sounds like the place we used to get our prescriptions from in Vegas. They were a nightmare and sure glad the company got rid of them. Happy to be back to Walmart'

You better take those loads and your weathering supplies and stick them in a lunchbox. Take them with you! I can see it now...your little box and supplies sitting in the bleachers, nothing like natural sunlight to get it just right! You really only have to pay close attention to the game when your child is batting or...you hear the CRACK of the bat !LOL

My plans are to finish up a couple of trailers and do some more work on the 2TRAK layout. But right now as I type this life seems to be getting in the way of my plans.:D

After what it seems as a month of saturdays working on other people's and my club's projects, I've decided to work on my own projects today. I'm going to start decaling my CNR RS-3 as well as decal a wood reefer in the same roadname. I've also got my IHC CNR Hudson that I plan to shorten the tender on and shear the 'elephant-ear' smoke deflectors off. I've already shortened three tenders of other club members who seemed to be too afraid of a razor saw!
