Finally.....
Found these at Wal-Mart today.
True HO scale Nascar cars. Cheap too. I picked up Ryan Newman, and Mark Martin. But they had Dale Earnhardt Sr., Dale Jr.(DEI, not Budwieser), Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson, Greg Biffle and Tony Stewart.
The Dale Jarrett is a 1/64th(or Matchbox if you must) scale.
Pretty well detailed with full interiors.
Now...Figure out how to use them on the layout.(Grand opening for an Alltell store? I am modelling modern.)

Race track

Why not? I don't know how much room you have but you could make a Nascar track in a corner or something. Use a pic on the wall and add the other stuff around it. Like fencing trailers and cars.

You might be able to model a short track with bleachers.

My Dad would go nuts if I have a Jeff Gordon 24 car on my next layout. He's a big Gordon fan!
