Unofficial partial archive of the well-known Soviet journal Modelist-Konstruktor - as I have seen - 60ties to 80-ties...

It seems to be a very precious struggle against the social degeneration: *

    My attempt of translation:

Site has been created for purpose of increasing the preoccupation [buki: spare-time activity] and technical creativity (primarily children and adolescents) by mean of familiarization with the history, details of construction, technologies and methods of design - so as real technic, as [hobby] models.

Site itself is a compendium of several articles published up to y.1991 in the journal Modelist-Konstruktor and similar ones. All rights of authors of each article have been met.
    * excuse the expressive first sentence - it is my personal opinion to global degradation of mankind - the evolution [or somebody else] spent 10 millions of years to rise a human being from the ape / but part of human population apparently tries to come back in a couple dozens of years .

Although you are stating your personal opinion, I'm sure many who have lived on this earth for a while can attest to the fact that your statement has plenty of merit. I myself would have to agree with it.

But, to get back on the subject of the thread, I think this is an excellent site for model referances, regardless of the reasoning for it's existance.
Many well done drawings for each subject and downloadable pdf versions to boot.
This site will come in handy for a good many of us here and is certainly worth a look.:)

Also, I took care of the duplicate post for you, not a problem.

That is a great site. I really like it. So much information and so readily available. I hope that it does not dissappear to quickly.

I hope too - it looks as an official project.

I must admit - in former "socialist" countries, the government spent very effective effort on spare-time activities, especially on modelling. Allmost in every small city have been officially organized and largely supported at least one "modelling club". There was widely available very knowledgeable literature for modelling (almost non-political). Papercraft or cardmodelling - it was mainly an affair of children :) ("adult" modellers plaied with RC-models, gliders, balsa etc.). Maybe this is a background of compelling Polish cardmodel editors.

Modelist-Konstruktor was valuable at that time and I am sure it can help to revive modelling activities now. Side effect - the global community (able to read Russian) has juicy compendium of valuable information :)
